Pair of Black Star Sapphire Cabochons

Pair of black Star Sapphires for use in jewelry.
These are not translucent at all, pure black stones that display a 4 pointed golden star when direct light is applied. I was unable to capture this for the photos; but these stones are beautiful.
 
These are Australian sapphires from the Anakie Sapphire fields. They have a domed face and a flat back. The back face is not polished.
