Pink 'Shaddow' Agate Palmstone - Agate Creek QLD
This product is the exact stone pictured.
Authentic untreated Agate Nodule piece from world famous Agate Creek Queensland Australia.
This specimen has been hand polished into a palmstone that is flat on one side, and rounded on the other. It has intricate patterns that display white, pale pinks, reds, pale grey and has layers of transparency between some of the bands of colour. The patterns are visible on both sides of the stone.
This specimen gives a good example of the "Shaddowing" effect. This effect is hard to photograph, but occurs accross the face of the stone as it reflects light. The light forms shaddows between the solid bands of colour and the transparent ones, which appears as a visual effect where you will see patches of shaddowing moving and bending amongst the pattern.
